Rong grew up close to the garbage dump and he now lives at the church. He helps with some of the worship during Sunday service and helps with security.
My name is Rong and I am 31 years old. I was born on the 17 of March 1984, I am not married, I am single. I don’t have a girlfriend. I have 5 siblings. I went to school from 1993-2000, I stopped school in grade 5 because I was sick. I broke my hip when I was 14 years old and it never healed properly. I have two older brothers and two younger sisters. My older brother died in the year 2000, he had paralysis and he was 20 years old. My other older brother moved into the temple in 2002, he wants to be a Buddhist. He lives with the monks in Pagoda and he will become a monk too. He is 33 years old now. My sisters are married and both live in the village. I became a Christian on Thursday July 21, 2004. I left my house and my parents and to go live at the church in 2007. My mother died in 2007, she had hypertension. I had dengue fever after my mother died and I had measles in 2010. My father died in March 2015 because he had an accident. I still live in the church now.
