A lack of skill is a large factor contributing to poverty. If vocational training programs were provided to the poor through on the job apprenticeship training, then businesses could expand the labour market. That is what we are trying to do. We have created an ethical sewing center that is providing work to those who used to scavenge for a living. We also have a Handicraft livelihood program that helps those with little or no training, as well as a men’s fabrication center to help teach welding, etc. Please see below for more information.
