Lets end Poverty

Let’s end the cycle of poverty!

At Work of Your Hand, we are all about the people. By providing fair wage jobs to impoverished artisans in Southeast Asia, we are empowering people to discover their talents, dignity and immeasurable worth as human beings made in the image of God.

To alleviate poverty we provide vocational training such as sewing (see Clothed in Dignity), handicrafts, greeting cards, welding (see Made For This), adult literacy, English lessons as well as kid’s programs, medical help and education support.

Work of Your Hand also purchases quality handcrafted products from other fair trade organizations. By purchasing, your investment provides fair wages to our artisans, which helps them afford education, vocational training, health care and more! Join the movement of compassionate, aware consumers who are partnering with Work of Your Hand to alleviate poverty, one purchase at a time.

Before I believed in Jesus, my life was very difficult. Now I am thankful for Clothed in Dignity Sewing Center that taught me how to sew. I am so happy, filled with hope and thankful to God that my family is doing better, that I met Minako & Darren and I view them as brothers and sisters, and am so grateful to Sat, Sherry and Stephanie Lali for helping setup this center for all these ladies.

Before I worked at this sewing center, my family had many difficulties. I picked garbage or worked in construction. My husband is now happy that I am sewing. I know that I still need to work hard to sew, but I promise to persevere. I am grateful to Darren and Minako, to Sat & Sherry Lali for starting this sewing center.
