Betty T.

Betty suffers from a malfunction of the thyroid gland.

Betty, 45 years old, is married with 7 children.  Two of her children are married, and live away from home.  Another is in high school and is considering becoming a teacher, while the rest are in elementary. Even at Betty’s young age, she is a grandmother of 5 kids.

Although Betty has suffered from a goiter condition, she continues to sew and is optimistic that a surgery in the future might help.

How she got started in this livelihood project:

Betty sews for Ginapadala, which receives livelihood orders from Work of Your Hand.  She is thankful for being able to find some work.
